Technician

Our fully qualified marine technician Hayden Robertson has years of experience across many makes and models of marine engines.

Hayden started off his marine journey working for Tristram Marine in Hamilton fitting out production boats with advanced wiring, electronic accessories and engine installations. Here he learnt the importance of completing all work to the highest standard as he fitted out production boats with everything from night vision cameras to solar panels.

After the rigging bay Hayden moved into the service centre where he honed in his mechanical skills on all types of outboards and sterndrive boats. Hayden Completed his trade apprenticeship here as well as advanced training for Yamaha and Mercury products. Before starting Robertson Marine, Hayden was a certified Mercury and Mercruiser technician.

After his time at Tristram Marine, Hayden moved back to Hawkes Bay to work for the Trev Terry group before starting up his own mobile marine company Robertson Marine Limited
